Nursing Bra - Standard Types

These are the standard nursing bra which you would normally choose for wearing during the day. Make sure that you are properly measured by a qualified bra fitter as a badly fitting nursing bra will be uncomfortable and in severe cases could lead to you developing mastitis. It is vitally important that your bra should not be too tight.

There are so many variations of nursing bra to choose from these days that we cannot feature them all here. Therefore we have chosen a selection which gives you an idea of what is available.

QT Molded Soft Cup Nursing Bra (370)

This is a very reasonably priced basic nursing bra. It is soft and comfortable being made from 90% cotton and 10% spandex. Users say that its design makes it very easy to use and that they preferred it to some of the more expensive bras they had tried.

Gilligan & O’Malley® Lace Trim Soft Cup - White

This is a nursing bra in the traditional design. Comfortable, supportive and great value for money.

Bravado Seamless Nursing Bra

This is a little more expensive than the previous two bras but it has a large number of very positive reviews.

User comments include that it is an extremely comfortable nursing bra and offers excellent support even for larger sizes. Many customers say that they have used several different nursing bras and that this has been by far the best. Several state that they bought one and then once they had tried it went straight out and bought another.

Condessa "Cassandra"

This doesn't really look much like a nursing bra - which is exactly what most women who have bought it seem to like about it. Available in several colors this bra allows you to wear pretty lacy underwear whilst breastfeeding. Still offers great support.

Medela Comfort  

This nursing bra  is something a little different from the traditional designs with a more modern sporty look to it. It is soft and comfortable and gives good support. It can be tumble dried which is a good plus point when you are busy with a new baby.
